Hidden little joint which has some good espresso, sweet decor and a nice vibe with friendly staff. I'd recommend this place and would definitely go again.

Prototype Coffee doesn't have much of an entrance. One needs to take a leap of faith and just open the door to check it out. Once inside, we appreciate the interior with the green wall. They roast small batches of coffee and it smells wonderful inside. With such a large display of waffles, it's hard not to have one. But the consistency is more like a cake donut, and not spongy & chewy like the waffles from Medina Cafe. I've been meaning to try their coffee for a while. Our coffee geek friends who roast their own coffee hold them in high regard. Our oat latte and cappuccino are OK. I had to get used to the roast. On the first sip, I thought I wasn't going to be able to finish my drink, but I got reconditioned soon enough – it's strong, tasty but not bitter.
Got a chance to visit this cafe a couple of days ago at 7am - the coffee was fine but the food looked very average. Despite that I tried the pumpkin scone, and it tasted soggy and stale. The other cafes in the area have much better and fresher options for food
100% would recommend this place for good food and drinks. The staff was really friendly and options for drinks are great! We also got the butter chicken wrap and it was amazing!
High end coffee roastery in East Vancouver. The roast small batches on site and have a large selection of different beans. Famous for pour over, they also do fantastic flat whites. You also have to try one of the waffles.
Please train employees and then they can do coffee to guests. In this morning I was so excited to drink my coffee and try Artigiano, however after my experience I am really disappointed. I order a late, but barista made a cappuccino with burned milk and my tongue got hurt. That was the worst coffee I drink at the town. Training is crucial to give expected customer experience and standards…

This place is bustling at 10:30 on a Saturday morning. We tried the Hawaiian latte, lemon cruffin and the hand drip Lokahi blend coffee…all good. Glad to see all the pastry choices available for future visits.
