The simulator freezes and told they will give us extra time and nothing. I would say that the sensor needs to be reconfigured because it took a lot of time to detect the ball and missed about 10-15% of shots o er 2.5 hours. This is a terrible experience and the booths themselves are way too narrow so don’t be fooled by their wide angle pictures. The stalls are small and the screen is sloppy.

Finally the booths are so narrow it is depressing. Doubt I will be back.

Re: Thornhill Location

Not quite a 2 star but there aren't any half stars available so I'm rounding up. There are a few fundamental issues with this location:

1. The systems in bay 4 and 7 had trouble identifying shots taken even when the system said "ball ready". This occurred approximately 20% of the time which resulted in having to repeat shots. It became extremely annoying not to mention it delayed the game sometimes to a point where we were wondering if we would finish on time.

2. Most of the bays are not maintained. For example, some of the screens are torn (especially bay 7 which looked like it was involved in a fight with a bear) and most of the screens are pieced together with multiple pieces of other screens. We didn't see any open bays with complete screens (one piece). The floppy overlaps made screen clarity difficult. In addition, the hitting mats are also pieced together with bits and pieces of turf and only some units have simulated rough and bunker mats.

3. This location is shared with a fitness club which had techno music playing for the majority of our visit. Not really ideal if players are trying to concentrate.

Some suites are $28 per hour and others are $23. We had originally booked the more expensive suite because it had the different mats (rough and bunker) but were moved to the cheaper suite (#4) because of the screen issue. We called the support line a few times with no response and ended up emailing. While they credited us 30 mins for the inconvenience, they have not refunded us the difference for the room rate for the 3hrs we were there.

Overall, this location was dated, run down and a disappointment. There are a number of other sims for a few dollars more per hour that are much higher in quality and features. Spend your money elsewhere.
