Amazing! Not sure how I haven't dined here sooner.

Brandon and his family are really welcoming and they've created a remarkable ambience with delicious food.

The best Thai food I've had in the city!

Highly recommended. Great way to beat the Sunday blues. Will be back for sure!
THE best Thai restaurant in Montreal. A hidden gem just in the outskirts of Villeray/border St-Michel.

We absolutely ADORED everything we ordered. We were 2 and got the following:
- Papaya Salad (Laos Style)
- Papaya Salad (Thai Style)
- Nem Khao
- Pad Thai
- Large Tom Yum Soup
- Mango sticky rice

They get a bonus point for having papaya salad with padaek sauce (Laos style papaya salad) - personally, that’s the true marker of an AUTHENTIC Thai restaurant.

The mango sticky rice is a must have for dessert and the place is also a BYOB.

Every single bite transported me back to Thailand and I can’t wait to be back soon!
Salad king is my favourite Thai place in Toronto!

It is affordable (an effort they do to make the students from TMU be able to buy food from here),incredibly delicious and very well-portioned. The trifecta of food when eating out.

I went out with by boyfriend and our mothers. They both got the battered shrimp fried rice with sweet chili oil, my bf got the panang curry and I get my signature: chicken Siam noodles. We all had to take our food home because of the amount of food that we got.

For the 20$ you will pay,it is worth it. Please visit this place it is a downtown staple!
Papaya salad (9/10). Zesty. The crab was an unexpected surprise but so much flavour. Spicy tho!

The stir fried glass noodle: 10/10. Unexpexted wok hei my goodness. So good!

Fried chicken wings: 7/10. Wings on their own eh. But rhe SAUCE carried it

Thai iced milk tea: 9/10. Wish they had a hot version but otherwise great.

Cute small place. Cosy. Great service
I had a great time. Food and service was phenomenal, they even gave free dessert. Also, I’m not sure why it says it’s closed on Tuesday cus when I went it was open. Will be back.
My over all rating for this place would be a 3.5/5.

The food and flavours were pretty close to what I’ve had in Thailand and one of the only restaurants in Toronto that serves authentic Thai food, but the quantity did not justify the price.

I went there to eat in alone and I ordered Thai ice tea5/5, Papaya salad 3/5 and stir fry crispy pork 3.5/ 5. My total came up to $50.

The Thai ice tea was amazing exactly like what I had in Thailand! The papaya salad was a bit tangy for my liking but still fresh and crunchy and did have authentic thai flavours.
I did really like the stir fried crispy pork but the quantity of rice was way too much and barely any meat. The price of the dish was almost $18 so I expected more meat and a bit more of the stir fried sauce cuz it felt very dry over all that rice.

I definitely recommend this place to everyone but I would love it if they balanced the meat to rice ratio.
Although I had been here many times before, I hadn’t added a review.
The menu selection is excellent, portions are generous, and the taste is so good.

We had the mango chicken and the golden curry with shrimps. To drink, Shinga beer.

Highly recommended!!
Food here is quite authentic. I am not sure if North Americans are truly ready for it tho. It’s spicy, it tastes just like it is in Thailand. The owner is super chatty and very proud of the place. Very interesting guy.
This used to be the BKK location a few years ago and now the name changed but the food service and interiors are still the same.

The menu is much bigger too.
Pad Ka Prao is delicious, so is the Pad See Ew, Pad Thai (1st ítem in the Pad Thai category on the menu). When I walked in, the server assured me that the flavour of the dishes was the same as before and that nothing much has changed except the name of the restaurant.

The food came pretty quickly as well.

I used to frequent this place a lot, pre pandemic. I will definitely return.
My favourite Thai place in Toronto, food is always spectacular. So fresh and delicious every time! And Peachy is such a delight, she provides wonderful service. The mango sticky rice is heavenly and the thai iced tea is absolutely perfect!
I'm sure it's the most delicious and wonderful restaurant in Toronto. I fully recommend here to you guys. Thai milk tea as well as pad thai and tom yang kung are fantastic. The meal and dessert are perfect.
Amazing experience at Mengrai for AsialiciousTO 2023! Not only was the food superb, but the service was top-notch. Allan was very hospitable and took the time to explain about the restaurant and recommended some dishes.
We dined here for the first time during Nuit Blanche last week. The ambiance was great! Staff were very friendly and service was fast and stellar. The food was great! This is the best Thai restaurant I have been to. We loved their chef’s special pad thai, the red curry with lychee (shrimp and chicken), the braised curry lamb and the mango salad. Presentation was impressive! Alex (if I remember correctly), the manager, goes around and chats with the customers which is really a nice touch because it made us comfortable and happy to have chosen to dine here. He also handed me a complimentary glass of white wine which was very much appreciated. I definitely recommend this place and would come back here again.
Recently, I went to Mengrai for the first time and really enjoyed it! We came from out of town to celebrate a birthday and heard that Mengrai had great vegan options.

Service was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back next time we are in Toronto!

It was real good experience. I tried mango salad, golden curry chicken and chicken basil noodles. Food was amazing and the service too. I am definitely going back whenever I want to eat Thai food.
Must go 🤟🏻
I love their lunch special, Pai Thai is really delicious.

I hope they can add thick fry noodles into their lunch special menu, I am sure it can attract more customers to go this lovely cute place.
Sooooo good.
I'm a big pad Thai fan. And decided to pop in and check out the menu. Noticed a pasta pad Thai that got me curious.
Omg soo delicious, the sauce.. Amazing food pasta cooked perfectly. Definitely coming back
Had dinner here with a friend. I’ve been to quite a few Thai restaurants in the GTA but this one really stood out! The staff was welcoming and serviced us proactively from the beginning, and the restaurant has tasteful, characteristic furnishings.

While looking at the menu and Google photos, I immediately noticed several dishes not seen at other restaurants, and we decided to try the striped bass fillet with coconut and chicken curry with lychee. I really enjoyed both choices! I’m usually not a big fan of very heavy dishes and so I was very glad that both dishes were more on the light side, and I especially loved the lychee flavour in the curry. The tastes and presentation were so memorable that I would love to come back and have them again! Additionally, the fried yam roll appetizer was excellent. I think this restaurant is underrated and it is now among my favourite Thai restaurants in Toronto.
We stopped by for a late lunch. It was quite empty. We liked the decor. Service was quick and very friendly. We ordered the basil pad Thai and green curry with rice. The pad Thai was tasty n spicy, but the noodles felt a little under done, but the taste was bang on. The green curry was the highlight and very delicious. Would definitely recommend and be back.
Super découverte, les plats sont copieux et délicieux ! Le service parfait et la musique au top (vous pourriez entendre de la kpop ♡) j'ai vraiment apprécié venir manger ici je recommande
Долгое ожидание! Не рекомендую!
