Really, really impressed. I've been coming to this place since I was a kid. It has changed owners over the years and had highs and lows. This is the first time I've been here in maybe 5 years and so impressed. Food was fresh, delicious, dumplings were plump and generous, price was reasonable and service was very friendly and that says a lot for a Chinatown establishment! Atmosphere was clean and pleasant which is not typical for dim sum. I really appreciated the veg dumpling options, very rare to see! Will def be back!!

Family fav - always come here to get fish fillet with corn & sweet + sour pork.
It does get really crowded and busy, so if you want like a the peaceful and quiet dining experience this isnt it.

Service is on par with most chinese places in Markham... luke warm but not rude.

Roasted Duck definitely is the top among what I’ve tried so far that the outskin of the duck is crisply thin and glazed; accompanying with the sweet sour plum sauce, it delivered marvelous texture and flavors. I would like to try more varieties of the other roasted meat considering the top notch roasted duck. About The fried rice with seafood sauce dish, sauce is a bit on the light side, rice is super good, the authentic way to enjoy this dish usually require add-in of vinegar, as there is condiment served on table, so it’s not a big problem for me to add in a bit more salt and vinegar. Sizzling beef and mushrooms are zesty, won’t be a wrong choice, bit too much oily on the bottom. Fried greens is also good, huge portions. Plus, tried seafood congee takeaway last time, full of seafood, worth it. Additionally, atmosphere is bright, spacious and welcoming, I would like to rate around 4.5 honestly.

Ok so I used to come here once in a while. I had to write this review and call out this location because their serving containers have gotten way smaller but prices haven't changed or may have gone up slightly. First it started by them giving less rice or noodles... now it's the containers. I wonder if all the locations are using smaller containers. Not a good look for this franchise!

Literally rude service , and I saw something really wired. Lady took the trash cloth from ground and cleaning the food container where all the foods displayed.

I have always had a soft spot for Chinese food, especially the kind that is served in shopping malls. There is something about the aroma of fried noodles, the crunch of spring rolls, and the tang of sweet and sour sauce that appeals to my inner child. So when I heard that there was a Manchu Wok in Lougheed Mall, I decided to give it a try.

Manchu Wok is a chain of Chinese fast food restaurants that has been around since 1980. It claims to offer "authentic Chinese cuisine" with "fresh ingredients" and "no MSG". The menu features a variety of dishes, such as chicken balls, beef and broccoli, honey garlic ribs, and chow mein. You can order a combo plate with two or three items and rice or noodles, or you can customize your own bowl with your choice of protein, sauce, and toppings.

I opted for two option, and selected the crispy pork, fresh green beans and black bean sauce. The cashier handed me a plastic tray with a paper platel filled with my food. I paid $14 plus tax and headed to the seating area.

The seating area was spacious and clean, with bright red chairs and tables. There were several other customers enjoying their meals, mostly families with young children and teenagers. The atmosphere was lively and cheerful.

I took a bite of my food and was pleasantly surprised. The meat was tender and juicy, with a crunchy coating that was not too greasy. The black bean sauce was savory and spicy, with a hint of garlic and ginger. The portion was generous and satisfying.

I finished my meal and felt happy and full. I thought to myself that Manchu Wok was not bad at all for a mall food court restaurant. It was fast, cheap, and tasty. It may not be the most authentic or refined Chinese cuisine, but it was certainly enjoyable.

If you are looking for a quick and easy lunch or dinner option in Lougheed Mall, you could do worse than Manchu Wok. It is a decent place to satisfy your craving for Chinese food without breaking the bank or your stomach. Just don't expect too much from it, and you will be fine.

Dimsum was my absolute fave!! Ordered half Peking Duck and it was delicious just don’t forget to ask for the bones if you like it ha having the minced meat cooked with veggies.

The only thing I won’t give a 5 ⭐️ is because they don’t have proper seating, ordering and bill out process. The food is great so they still deserve a 4 star review.
