95% of the comments here are due to the strong opinions of the catholic school board community for not wanting to fly the pride flag. I am a 10th grade student of the board and the school I go to could not be better, I feel welcomed. To all those who are crying over the pride flag not being out above our schools, a flag can not adress your insecurities, you are welcomed here but your flag is not needed above our schools.

This well run school board won't allow elementary teachers to photocopy due to the cost of the paper. They won't issue notebooks to replace the paper or purchase new reading material to fulfill the new curriculum because they've spent the budget. If it wasn't for Dollarama the schools would be just a babysitting service

Very bad working place! No improve, a Chinese project manager likes to micro manage. Working harass during your working hour. They even terminate employee at sick leave with doctor notes. Very rude, and violation of human rights.

It's disappointing non-Catholics are enrolling their children into a YCDSB high school because of its rank, IB program, or some other reason and being admitted. These children do not belong in practicing households and they haven't a clue about the teachings of the Catholic church. Some belong to other divisions of Christianity and others, the childs' baptism is obtained for admission purposes. This makes it unfair for families who are in keeping with the practices of the Catholic faith. Religious education has also declined over time (as noted by others). In some communities there is little regard for religion. There needs to be a much stricter admissions policy control in response to a changing Canada. Consider renaming the Catholic public schools and privatizing those for genuine Catholics.
