The aquarium was fun for our children under 5. We went on a weekend so it was very busy but we still managed to see all the exhibits. We had to park pretty far so bring a small stroller and good walking shoes. We also packed our own lunch and found a great spot outside to eat while we watched the sea lions. The gift shop is really nice with a collection of all sorts of gifts for visitors and locals. We purchased a beautiful Christmas ornament.
Nice place to explore the underworld species. They have many species and a lot of educational information . Very recommend for families with children. They have a food area and a gift store.
Make sure you don’t loose track of time by accident cause staff will be yelling at you to leave cause they are closed now.

The Love of my Life and I had such an amazing visit to the Vancouver Aquarium.
We visited: The Sea Otters, Various species of fish from every different region of the West Coast of BC and also many foreign countries. Frogs, Toads, snakes, Alligator, Turtles and Tortoise, birds, spiders, bats, eels, jellyfish 🪼 omg there is just too much to list .
Its all so amazing the way they have it displayed and laid out. The Displays of each feature is presented in such a professional, humane and comfortable way for each species.. They make the environment for them mimic their natural habitats PERFECTLY which is so compassionate of each person in charge of caring for these creatures. I had so much appreciation for what these people do everyday.
We went to the 4D theater feature at the end and it was Awesome! They have 3D glasses and you watch a Christmas feature with all these realistic sounds. Vibrations, water spray, smell of things in the video and intense flashes. It was so Coool. The children must really have a memorable moment from this event.
I cannot stress enough how special of a family event this would be to take your loved ones to!

Beautiful aquarium. Perfect place to hang out with your family for the day. I recommend getting the membership as buying daily tickets can add up. It was $70 for 2 adults and baby strolled in free. Cafeteria offers a variety of food for meals and there are free refills. The seal show during their meal times is a must, try to schedule your visit around that time. It’s very educational for children of all ages.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the aquarium. I came as a solo adult during a weekday. It was a good time to go to avoid major crowds and lots of strollers.

They also have a movie theatre which I did not partake in, but they were showing ocean episodes of Planet Earth. The seals, sea lions and otters were also very fun to watch!

Was für ein Spektakel. Für Europäer einzigartig. Sowas gibt es hier nicht. Rodeo, Chuckwaggon, Indian Race usw. , Am Abend eine tolle Musikshow mit phantastischen Showeinlagen und Tänzern.
Im Umfeld ist ein Volksfest, das man vielleicht ein wenig mit dem Oktoberfest vergleichen kann. Toll!

Leider vor dem Rodeo Show dort gewesen.
Kanadische Version des Oktoberfestes, etwas kleiner. Riesen Rummel mit diversen Wettbewerben und Vorführungen. Ganz Calgary trägt Cowboyhut. Hotels und Gastronomie nehmen einen fetten Aufschlag.
Riesen Veranstaltung bei der ganz Calgary ausflippt! Muss man einfach erlebt haben! Immer ab 1. Freitag im Juli für 10 Tage! Yeahah!!

Das größte Cowboy Festival der Welt, die Calgary Stampede findet hier 1x jährlich statt. Dann ist hier mit Millionen Besuchern ein riesen Spektakel.
Außerhalb dieser Rodeo Zeit ist hier alles verlassen und sieht ausgestorben und wie eine unwirkliche Kulisse aus. Lohnenswert sind dann die zahlreichen hervorragenden Lokale und Clubs mit Stampede - Ambiente in Calgary ☺👍

Zehn Tage lang, jeden Tag Rodeo, Postkutschenrennen, Abendshow mit Feuerwerkeffekten zum Abschluss. Parade zu Beginn der Tage. Karusels, echter Indianerdorf. Die ganze Stadt steht Kopf, ehe Hut, da über dir zehn Tage es gut gesehen wird in Cowboy Hut und Stiefeln zu laufen auch ind Büro zur Arbeit. Wenn Calgary, dann unbedingt an den zehn Tagen.
