Never knew it, but this Cherry Hill fountain is where they filmed the opening scenes of the sitcom Friends, which is pretty neat. It's a nice spot in Central Park for a quick visit, especially if you are a fan of the show.

The Lake is also another one of the highlights while visiting Central Park. There is tons of nice scenery all around the lake, but we would also highly recommend renting one of the row boats near the Bouthouse Basin and row your way around the lake for an hour or so. It's not very expensive to do and It's such a highly recommend, awesome experience that is a must do if you are visiting Central Park.

The shops at Columbus Circle was the first high-end shopping mall in Manhattan, well before Brookfield Place & Hudson Yards came along. There are lots of nice shops within this mall, but I will say that Hudson Yards has definitely eclipsed this place now. Still, if you're a resident of the Upper West or East Side, this is a great area of the city to stop by for some shopping. Also, there are a number of great restaurants here with Per Se, Porterhouse, and Bar Masa being my favorites.

Along with the Emerald Inn, the Amsterdam Ale House is my favorite pub on the Upper West Side. I have been here many times over the years it's really the best pub in the area. Both the food and service at this establishment are solid. If you are in the area the Amsterdam Ale House definitely has my recommendation if your looking for a pub.

Wards Island Park is part of Randall's Island. While we have attended many of my son's sporting events at Randall's Island, until today, we have never been to the Wards Island Park area within this location. It has a very similar set-up to fields 7 & 8 on the main part of Randall's Island but with a little more of a secluded feel. We played on field 80 at Wards, the views of Manhattan were amazing and his team won!
